Beyond History in the German magazine Lea

We, or rather our company founder Andrea Bentschneider, were in the media again. This time it was the German women’s magazine Lea. In mid-February an article on women with professions that are not commonplace was published. One of the portrayed women is Andrea Bentschneider, whose personal path to professional genealogy is traced.

The article focuses on how the women came to their professions and what key events played a role. Andrea Bentschneider discovered genealogy as a hobby when an up to then total stranger wrote to her and asked if they were related. 12 years later, she turned her hobby into a career.

Next to our boss a bodyguard, a “mother coach” and a crime scene cleaner were introduced - also very interesting professions.
