On the occasion of German Remembrance Day on 18 November, the radio station NDR 1 Radio MV sent a radio interview with Andrea Bentschneider on Thursday 15 November 2018. She talked about genealogy, where to start, sources etc. The interview was aired between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. and later between 08:15 and 9 p.m. there was a summary.
Remembrance Day is to commemorate the casualties of war and the victims of tyrannies of all nations. It is easy to see the link to genealogy. We are often researching in these contexts for our clients. This is emotionally challenging, but our clients are often especially grateful to learn more about their ancestors and families.
